Do you make furniture to order?
No, we do not make to order. We are not manufacturers, we buy items from both local and overseas suppliers. However, some of our local suppliers may make simple modifications such as raising or lowering a shelf.

Where do I go to have something specially made?
The only people we recommend you contact are cabinet makers. Although it is expensive to have them make to measure, the quality is guaranteed not like some of the 'Made-To-Order' shops around Melbourne. Cabinet makers are in all suburbs and can be found in the Yellow Pages.

Do you keep stained items in stock?
Unfortunately not. The fact the items are all available in 18 different colours makes it unviable. However, we keep most items raw in stock and staining can be done quite quickly.

How long does it take to get the items displayed on your website?
It depends. If we have the item in stock and you want it raw (unstained) you can either collect it immediately or we can deliver within a day or two. If the item is in stock raw (unstained) but you require it stained, it takes around one week.
If the item is not in stock, it depends on which supplier it comes from. The minimum time would be 1 week for a raw item and 2 and a half weeks for a stained item, the maximum would be 5 weeks for a raw item and 6 weeks stained.

Do you home deliver and how much does it cost?
Yes we can deliver to your home. The price depends on your suburb. As examples, Nunawading is $25 per load, Mount Waverly $40, Heidelberg $45, Croydon Hills $35, Melbourne City $50. We can deliver to country areas but we charge $60 per hour and we charge return to the shop in Nunawading. E.g. Mansfield- 2 and a half hours each way plus a half hour loading/unloading = $330. Unfortunately we do not deliver interstate and the cost to have items couriered by an independent company would be too expensive.

What times do you deliver?
Delivery times vary weekly. The majority of our home deliveries are done on Friday afternoons or evenings. The remainder are Saturday mornings, Saturday evenings and Sunday evenings. Our charge includes a driver only. Heavy items may require the customers help although we can use trolleys. We do not deliver upstairs if there is no assistance provided by the customer.

Do you colour match?
Yes, we can colour match but only within reason. As matching is a very difficult process as the polisher is "guessing" at the recipe to make the stain. We only guarantee the matching will be closer than a standard colour. For this, we charge 30% extra for the staining component only. E.g. The item price is $100 raw or $130 in a standard stain. Could matching would add $9 to the standard stained price (30% of $30).

Mon-Fri 9am until 5.30pm
Sat-Sun 9am until 5.00pm
We are open public holidays except Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Do you have other items that are not displayed on your website?
Yes. However the items we have advertised represent the best value for money and are the most popular items around. We have an almost unlimited supply of other units but we can only show you pictures (in store) of the items and quote you, before you place an order.

Do you have a rear entry to your store to collect goods?
Yes, for large goods only. The rear entry is off Silver Grove and is an alleyway named Gardeners Lane. Our store has a grey roller door that you can back up to with a car, trailer, van or truck. Loading is through the roller door.
